Most missions require the player to collect a certain number of Energy Crystals, which begins low and gradually increases in later missions. The game begins with optional training missions and one unlocked mission. The Windows version is a real-time strategy game akin to Dungeon Keeper, and it was the first video game to feature the Rock Raiders theme. The Microsoft Windows version was released on November 15, 1999, while the PlayStation version was released on August 17, 2000. It is based on the same-named Lego theme.
